Google review replies in Hindi and Hinglish, sorted by situation
Many customers write their Google reviews the way they talk: half Hindi, half English, in Roman script. A reply in the same style reads as if a person at the shop wrote it. The replies below are grouped by what the customer is talking about, not by star rating.
Each one can be copied, or shared to your own WhatsApp so you or a staff member can finish it on the phone before posting it on Google. Fill in the brackets and cut anything that is not true for your business.
Writing Hinglish replies that sound right
- Match the reviewer. If they wrote in Hinglish, reply in Hinglish; if they wrote in English, reply in English.
- Keep it polite: "aap", "ji", "please" and "shukriya" go a long way. Avoid slang you would not use at the counter.
- Keep facts in plain words: dates, timings and names are easier to read in English letters.
- Two to four short sentences is enough. Google's own tips say to keep replies short and simple.[1]
- Never mention the customer's phone number, bill or booking details in public.[1]

If the review is in Hindi (Devanagari script)
If the customer wrote in Hindi script, reply in Hindi script. These two cover the most common cases. Placeholders such as [Name] and [number] stay in English letters so they are easy to spot and replace.
Frequently asked questions
Should I reply in Hinglish if the review is in English?
Usually not. Reply in the language the customer used. A Hinglish reply suits a Hinglish review; an English review gets an English reply.
Is Hinglish polite enough for a 1 star review?
Yes, if you write it the way you would speak to a respected customer at the counter: "ji", "aap", a clear apology and a number to call. Avoid jokes and slang in replies to complaints.
Should I use Hindi script or Roman script?
Follow the reviewer. If they wrote in Hindi script, reply in Hindi script; if they wrote Hindi words in English letters, reply in Roman script.
