a. Login Credentials

We may request your phone number for OTP-based login, which is optional and may be disabled in certain regions depending on local norms or user preferences.

Email-based login via Google OAuth is mandatory to use Vera’s core services. With your explicit consent, we access your Gmail account to:

• Identify and read structured business-related emails from third-party food delivery aggregator platforms (including but not limited to Zomato, Swiggy, Magicpin, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Deliveroo, Postmates), and any other platforms relevant in your region
• Extract order reports, payout summaries, and financial statements
• Analyze this data to provide business insights
• Compose and send support-related emails to these platforms on your behalf

Vera does not access, store, or use any personal, promotional, or unrelated emails. All access is controlled under Google’s Limited Use Policy.

b. Usage & Device Data

We collect anonymized and non-personal data, such as feature usage, crash logs, and screen flows, to improve the app experience.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Authenticate your account
• Fetch and analyze financial and operational reports
• Generate business insights and operational alerts
• Automate communication and support workflows with aggregator platforms

Some features, such as AI-driven dispute resolution or advanced insights, may be available only via a paid subscription plan.

We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties.

3. Data Security

We follow industry best practices, including:

• End-to-end encryption for sensitive operations
• OAuth 2.0 for Gmail access
• Secure API communication with token-based session management

You may revoke Gmail access at any time from your Google Account settings.
