In addition to everything else, Hemkunt Foundation is providing Coronavirus Relief Aids such as food packages, medical help, etc. to the people in need. But their initiative does not end there.
The NGO has taken up a new project called Oxygen Cylinder Relief where they are giving out oxygen cylinders for free to covid infected patients.
What Is Project Oxygen Cylinder Relief?
Not everyone in our country can afford oxygen cylinders. According to their website, "the entire expense of this equipment, every 10kg gas cylinder will cost more than INR 6000 and that's excluding the price of accessories like pipe, mask, humidifier, oximeter and spanner (Upto 2000) we need to make the oxygen cylinder functional."
Keeping the cost, availability and humanity in mind Hemkunt Foundation came up with the project: Oxygen Cylinder Relief according to which they are giving out oxygen cylinders to covid infected patients for free. The aim is to minimise infection and maximise recovery.
