Deepika Padukone might be a lot of things, but poorly dressed is not one of them. Known for consistently putting her best (and remarkably effortless) fashion foot forward, she has rightfully earned the title of The Bollywood Queen of Airport Looks. From plain statement tees to chic silhouettes, Deepika has effectively converted the Airport lounge into her personal runway, and try as we might, we just can’t get enough.
If you don’t agree with us quite yet, that’s okay! We come bearing evidence. Here’s a round-up of the top five iconic Airport looks by Deepika Padukone, that made us really (REALLY) second-guess our grey sweatpants (and general fashion choices):
The Unbothered Diva

Donning a satiny ash-grey jumpsuit by Frankie Shop, Deepika managed to turn more than her fair share of heads with this glam airport attire. Thrown into this already fashionable mix was a funky pair of vintage black shades, black ankle-length boots, and gold layered chains. Simple, chic, pap ready.
2. The Comfortable Boss Lady

This grey chequered suit was the talk of the town when Deepika first made her airport appearance sporting the outfit. Paired with a fitted white t-shirt and an easy-going pair of white sneakers, this OOTD looked like one that catered to both style and comfort. The look was sealed together by her best accessory, that DP million dollar smile!
3. The Discotheque Queen

Can we just take a moment to admire this outfit? With this clever airport look, Deepika taught us how to remain minimal, yet glam up an otherwise basic outfit. Wearing a simple white top and black skinny pants underneath, Deepika added her own brand of flair by donning a fringe jacket in multiple prismatic hues. Topping this off with a round pair of sunnies, she made the paparazzi (and us) go into an excited frenzy!
4. The Classic Starlet

While florals for spring might not be ground-breaking, Deepika managed to incorporate them in this airport look and subsequently steal the show! The three key outfit elements of a floral shirt in a floaty fabric, striped ripped jeans and a pair of classic oxfords were brought together by her in a style so dapper, the shutterbugs were left wishing for more!
5. The Quirky Lass

This outfit managed to make it to the most popular form of modern artwork, memes! It doesn’t get more casual-chic than this trendy half-n-half boyfriend shirt, with a pastel shade on one side, and red checks on the other. That being said, we aren’t really feeling the bottom half of this airport outfit. A pair of denims more fitted than the flair jeans she donned, could’ve perhaps been more complimentary!
